The City of Ames 2025 General Election will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Ames City Hall located at 304 Martin Drive.  Filing for a place on the ballot is set by state statute and takes place from January 15 – February 14, 2025.  Positions up for election are the Mayor, City Council Member Position #3 and City Council Member Position #5. Early Voting dates for the 2025 General Election will be April 21 - 29, 2025.

The Last Day to File for a Place on a General Election Ballot is Friday, February, 14, 2025.
